The Saddest Day
This is what I saw in the paper on that faithful March day. Read
it! It says one David Henry, age 23, of Newport is to be married to one
Lisa Billings of Highland Heights. At first I was in denial. This can't
be the David Henry. I mean how common of a name is David Henry? I
bet everyone knows at least one David Henry. I hadn't seen David Henry
since Middle School. He moved out of my school district. However it was
known that he still lived nearby because Jacob Barney said he was
sometimes mistaken for David Henry. So the Newport fits. Then there is
the fact he is 23. That is how old I am. So we are the same age. David
Henry was my age. Finally the kicker. A sanitation worker! I mean what
better job for someone like David Henry to get, other than male gigolo of
course. We may never know if this David Henry is in fact the
David Henry but honestly, deep down, I think we all know the truth. Peace
out David, may Lisa bring you all the happiness
you deserve. We love you man!
