The Search For the Holy Ale

The final beer drinking event is the Ale event. This event
is exactly like the other three beer drinking events however the
choice of beverage is Ale. The winner is the person who finishes the most
ales without puking in an hours time.
Competing in this event were Jarrod and Grace of Butenia, Mark and JB
of Marylando, Demoss and Jennifer of Campbella, Amanda and Leon of Otros, and
Pill Bug of Buggland. This event turned out lots of drama. Going in Leon
decided he would make sure he ate as much as he could so if he did puke
it would be very dramatic. Well he certainly did puke and it certainly was
dramatic. His puke was one of the longest recorded in history. Not really the
loveliest of sites. He wasn't the first person to fall though. Going into the
competition Amanda had been feeling a little ill. Just the smell of the Ale
when she opened it almost did her in so she withdrew at the start. That wasn't
the case for Mark of Marylando who seemed to be able to drink an entire bottle
without taking a breathe. He finished with 10 beers drunk and took the gold
medal. His medal meant the team from Marylando won three of the possible
four gold medals from the beer drinking events. Not only that but they took
six of the possible twelve medals. Second place was also from Marylando where
JB finished 8 beers. Pill Bug winning his second drinking bronze medal
finished with 7 and a half. Afterwards we talked to Mark about his countries
domination of the beer drinking events.
"In Marylando we drink a lot." said Mark. "Some people joke that we should
just run beer out of our faucets instead of water. I think we should stop joking
and do it."
