Definitely the tastiest of the Pill Bug Olympic events is the
Potato Cooking event. This event is sort of like a cook off. Each contestant
is given five potatoes and they must cook them over a fire. Then a panel of
judges tastes all the potatoes and they choose the first, second, and third
best potatoes.
Entering the Potato Cooling event were Lily and Shell of Butenia,
Kristine and Todd of Marylando, Josh and Demoss of Campbella, Amanda and
Emily of Otros and Pill Bug of Buggland. Pill Bug decided to cook his
famous cheesy potato for the competition. As usual though, this didn't turn
out too well and Pill Bug didn't win the competition. The person with the best
potatoes was Josh. He had been perfecting his potato cooking skills now for several
years. He cut the potatoes up into little wedges and covered them with butter.
Second place went to Amanda. Her recipe was oddly enough exactly the same as
Josh's. The potatoes even tasted the same. However the judges were somewhat
sexist so Josh beat out Amanda for gold. Third place went to Kristine who made
some of her famous mashed potatoes. Lily who didn't place made baked potatoes.
Shell made a potato pie. Todd tried to make french fries but ended up just
making a mess. Emily made potato candy that tasted like rocks. Finally Demoss'
potatoes were hotter than hot and made the judges sick.
