People Watching
I See Alive People

So the People Watching event at the Pill Bug Olympics isn't the most
exciting and action packed event there is. It is though one of the most
interesting. In the end Lily from Butenia was the best people watcher.
What makes a good people watcher? Well to know you have to understand
the basics of the event.
The People Watching event at the Pill Bug Olympics was first
introduced in 1996. The concept of the event was to watch people and try
to figure them out. All contests are seated at a long table.
This year the contests consisted of Lily and Grace of Butenia, Sara
and Amy of Campbella, Kim and Dixon of Marylando, Amanda and Lydia of
Otros, and Pill Bug of Buggland. Then a series of skits are acted out.
These skits are actors pretending to be regular people doing regular
things. After watching these people for about an hour the contestants are
then given a serious of thoughts, actions, and feelings and have to match
them up with who they best fit of the people they just watched. That is how
people watching is done.
This years competition had seven actors. One guys was a drunk and he
went around being a jerk. Then there was this wiener guy who let everyone boss
him around. There was a married couple with a teenage son. There was some
seductress type woman. Finally there was a midget. These seven actors put
on quite a little show and then the contestants did their thing. Lily
of Butenia won pretty handily with Grace of Butenia and Sara of
Campbella getting the silver and bronze respectively.
