Wadener University was founded in 1988. The campus in Joppatowne includes the departments with an enrollment of about 24,000 students. Located next door is the Community College with a total enrollment of about 4,000 students. The Community College offers a varied curriculum including continuing education and programs leading to associate technical degrees.
