STUDENT ORGANIZATION - WU PEZHEADS
We are the WU PEZHeads, a student organization at Wadener University dedicated to talking, trading, and eating PEZ. Along with constantly adding and maintaining our own collections we are also responsible for keeping the official Wadener University collection. It isn't widely known but the great Pat Wadener is said to have had one of the greatest PEZ collections ever, however his son Zagnut got into it one day and destroyed most of it. What remains in on display on the first floor of Gall Hall near the Admissions Office. On the floor near the display case is a popular make-out place for WU PEZHeads.
Our organization meets once a month in the Wadener Student Union. There we trade PEZ among ourselves and talk about new happenings in the world of PEZ. We also sponsor several events. In May before the semester lets out we usually have a garage sale Saturday where we travel to every garage sale in the greater Joppatowne area looking for PEZ. Whoever comes back with the best find is named WU PEZhead of the Semester. We have a similar hunt in October but instead of garage sales we hit antique stores. On Halloween we always have our Halloween party where everyone comes dressed as their dispenser.
The monthly WU PEZHeads meetings are open to all students interested, though PEZ collectors are preferred. More information on when and where we meet can be found on the bulletin board in the main lobby of the Student Union.
